The Real Computer Shop

6 Causeway Ln, Matlock DE4 3AR, UK – 01629 760467

Outstanding customer service, expertise and technical support. Staff from both the Matlock and Sheffield shops have come out to help us and no issue has been too small or proved too difficult for them . Pete from the Matlock store, in particular, has offered solutions to our specific technical issues when other companies were unable help us. They are always prompt and reliable.

Excellent service all round - I would highly recommend Pete and the RCS team for any IT tech support job you need doing. Knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Don't look any further.

Crown Computing

Crown Square, Bakewell Rd, Matlock DE4 3AT, UK – 01629 581813

Have bought 3 computers of various types from Rob at Crown, and have always had a fair deal. They have been prepared and set up ready for use. Any queries or questions we've had have been answered in normal and easy to understand language. He also stocks most accessories and ink, We've always tried to support local businesses and this has paid dividends with value and service. In the past have dealt with the multiples and once they have your cash, they don't want to know.

Great venue - we hired the upstairs art studio for some of our leathercraft workshops - really good light and atmosphere and very helpful staff

OK bit pricey.

Wilko

Units 2/4 Bank Road, Matlock DE4 3AQ, UK – 01629 56599

Great for bargain handy and must have products. Men can also begin to build up a toolbox for odd jobs around the home unless it is the wife who is gifted with these skills.

Love this store. Such a variety of wares at such fabulous prices.

Birdswood

Weighbridge Office, Cromford Wharf, Mill Rd, Cromford, Matlock DE4 3RQ, UK – 07552 055455

Sailed on here with my wife and my mum. It was brilliant. The volunteers that run it are so friendly and helpful. The commentary they give to tell you all about the canal is really interesting. I'd definitely recommend it. We also took out dog as the website says it's VERY dog friendly.

Excellent value for a relaxed two-hour trip along a very scenic historic waterway, on a heritage canal boat manned by friendly and enthusiastic volunteers from the local canal restoration charity. Highly recommended.
